About the Role

An exciting leadership opportunity to drive large-scale digital transformation and shape the next generation of People & Payroll or Accountant software. You'll lead a growing distributed engineering organization, champion AI-assisted development, and deliver world-class .NET SaaS solutions for global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand a 30–40 member engineering team (with plans to hire 50+ more).
  • Oversee migration from legacy desktop systems to modern .NET SaaS platforms.
  • Champion AI-assisted software engineering practices (Devin, Claude Code, etc.).
  • Own product technical strategy, architecture, and uptime standards (99.9%).
  • Partner with Product Management to deliver roadmaps and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor Software Engineering Managers and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Collaborate across regions (AU, KL, UK) to ensure alignment on technical and business goals.
  • Drive engineering excellence, quality assurance, and cost optimization.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of software development experience, with strong leadership in distributed teams.
  • Expertise in
    Microsoft Stack (.NET, SQL, Azure)
    or equivalent technologies (Java, React Native, Angular).
  • Strong understanding of
    AI-native development
    , LLMs, and agentic coding systems.
  • Proven track record in
    cloud-native architecture
    , scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and complex project delivery.
