Senior Finance Executive

- Manage full sets of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and month and year-end financial closing.
- Oversee and supervise daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Review and analyse accounting transactions to produce accurate financial statements, management reporting, and statutory submissions.
- Monitor receivables, perform ageing analysis, and manage credit control processes to support cash flow and reduce credit risk.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to maintain proper inventory control, including stocktake participation and inventory adjustment review.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations such as bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations, and prepare audit schedules for review.
- Handle tax-related functions including SST reporting, tax estimates, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Execute treasury tasks, including maintaining bank accounts, overseeing payment processes, and user access administration.
- Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations in Malaysia.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities to support audit and tax filing obligations.
- Lead or support initiatives that improve financial processes, accounting systems, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance finance workflows and strengthen financial governance.
- Participate in finance system implementations and assist with process transition to support business growth.
- Perform additional finance duties and assignments as required by Management.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience managing full sets of accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Experience within a manufacturing or inventory-driven environment is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
- Effective communication skills, and able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
