Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer with a strong mechanical background to lead our process quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will be a specialist in process control, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. You will be responsible for ensuring our manufacturing processes consistently meet the highest quality standards, driving improvements, and minimizing defects through systematic analysis and control.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to monitor and control key manufacturing parameters.
  • Conduct process capability analysis to ensure processes are stable and capable of meeting product specifications.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process non-conformances.
  • Lead quality improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to establish and optimize process parameters for new products and existing production lines.
  • Create and update quality control plans, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to process quality.
  • Monitor daily process performance and quality data, providing detailed reports and analysis to management.
  • Conduct internal audits of production processes to ensure adherence to established quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
  • Train and mentor production staff on process control techniques and quality best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or other related engineering fields.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer with a strong emphasis on process quality and control.
  • Solid mechanical background with hands-on experience in manufacturing and process analysis.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify process trends and issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on systematic root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across different departments.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with quality software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
