POSITION DESCRIPTION (Duties & Responsibilities)

  1. Inventory Checking: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Ensure the correct quantity and quality of products are received and shipped according to the packing list, purchase orders, or delivery receipts.

  2. Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies during receiving and dispatch processes. Report issues to supervisors or managers and assist in resolving discrepancies.

  3. Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of product quantities, locations, and inventory movements. Update inventory management systems to reflect stock levels, and make adjustments when necessary.

  4. Labelling & Tagging: Ensure that all products are properly labelled and tagged before storage or shipping. Correctly apply product codes, barcodes, and other relevant information.

  5. Stock Rotation: Ensure that the proper stock rotation procedures are followed, including FIFO (First In, First Out) or other inventory management practices.

  6. Physical Inspections: Perform routine physical checks on stored goods to ensure compliance with safety regulations and prevent stock deterioration.

  7. Shipping & Receiving Support: Assist in the preparation and checking of outbound shipments. Ensure products are securely packed and correctly documented for transport.

  8. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper handling of materials, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to warehouse safety regulations.

  9. Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (academic, experience, competencies etc.)

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.

Required skill(s):

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to use inventory management systems or software.

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in basic math and measurements.

· Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, scanners) is a plus.

  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, & Excel.
