Full time RM 2,500 – RM 5,500 per month

We are fully committed to be key players in the field of building construction inclusive of infrastructure and civil engineering works, architectural works, mechanical and electrical works by delivering projects on time, with good workmanship and to the satisfaction of the client and consultants.

In line of our business expansion, we are seeking suitable qualified individual to join our team.

5 working days, Saturday alternate shift (For Quantity Surveyor only)

Working hours 9.00 am -5.30 pm (Mon to Fri, Sat 9.00 am to 1.00 pm)

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveyor / Construction Management or equivalent In depth knowledge of construction cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement processes. 

Strong and analytical skills with ability to interpret and manipulate complex data effectively

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations and reports

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience.

Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the main-contractor industry.

Job Descriptions :

Quantity Surveyor :

1) Responsible for pre and post contract management, negotiation and preparation of final accounts.

2) Conducting accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and machineries / equipment costs.

3) Verification of claims and recommendation for payments to contractors / sub-contractors.

4) Involve in tendering processes, conduct sub-contractor tender interviews and cost evaluation exercise.

5) Verify all progress claims up to the final claim certification including preparations of final accounts for all sub-contracts.

6) Ensure timely awards of sub-contractors, prepare Letter of Award and or Works Order.

7)Evaluating and negotiating subcontractor tender and contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

8) Prepare Main Contract Claim to client and ensure client timely issue the payment certificate and coordinate with Accounts Department to follow up payment status from client.

9) Preparing and managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure, and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.

10) Taking off and prepare re-measurement works Ensure operational work processes and documentations are in compliance with the Company's Quality Management System.

11) Performing regular site valuations to assess progress, verify quantities, and address any contract and cost-related issues.

12) Monitoring all Incoming Drawings and records any Variation Works to V.O List and completed all the calculation, supporting documents to Client periodically.

13) Prepare professional correspondence to Consultant, Sub-contractor and Supplier regarding submission, RFIs, notification and given warning related matter and etc. 

14) Preparing and presenting Sub-Contract financial reports, forecast, and analysis to management.

15) Purchase all Building Material required by site or production team and prepare delivery schedule (bulk order material) to supplier Perform tracking for Delivery Order and Material Budget  Monitor the quantity and quality of material ordered and delivered

16) Prepare cost study for cost saving exercise or alternative specifications

17) Undertake any other related duties assigned by superior

Site Supervisor:

1) To assist the Site Manager to supervise all construction works on the project.

2) To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by quality management system.

3) To implement project operations and document control procedure.

4) To supervise, monitor and control daily works at the project site and adhere to document control procedure.

5) To coordinate with Project Director, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and timely progression of the work.

6) To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.

7) To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions. etc.

8) Candidate must possess Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management.

9) Fresh Graduate or 1-2 years of working experience.

10) Able to work independently with good working attitude.

11) Willing to contribute or work for long hours prior to project deliverable.
