You will play an important role in the following areas:

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and establish new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Responsible for sales of products and services and fabrication systems to new customers.
  • Staying up to date with strategic plans and processes to align market strategies.

Customer Engagement:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing technical advice, and support before and after sales.
  • Understand the needs of key accounts to propose relevant solutions based on their specific requirements.

Technical Presentations:

  • Deliver product demonstrations, systems/products design selections, and explain technical aspects in a clear, accessible manner.

Work on Proposals:

  • Costing, quotations, engage in negotiation and execution of purchase orders from customers.
  • Prepare project proposals incorporating the product offering, pricing, payment and relevant commercial terms.

Market Research:

  • Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to refine sales strategies.
  • Awareness of product and service marketability, customers' technical and manufacturing needs as well as local government regulations.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Manage relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Provide training, troubleshooting, and recommendations for product improvements.

Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role, we will require:

  • Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or comparable education in related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Automation System and Project Sales management.
  • Good working knowledge of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, Servo Drive programming and Automation systems.
  • Ability to succeed in an environment of continuous improvements and stretched targets.
  • Good influencing, negotiation and selling skills and the ability to maintain long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Able to explain complex technical concepts in a simple, persuasive manner.
  • Possess analytical skills to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
  • Must be proactive, multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Independent with strong sense of responsibility and initiatives.
  • Mature personality, enthusiastic, a team player and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness for frequent domestic and international business travel as needed.
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Possess own vehicle and valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
