We are seeking a talented
Advantest Tester Software Engineer
to join our Asia Packaging team, based in Malaysia. The role focuses on test program development, optimization, debugging and validation for semiconductor devices on Advantest platforms.

Responsibilities & Complex Tasks

• Tool understanding requirements differ from other platforms
• The candidate should have basic Linux and Java understanding
• Facilitate factories of new tester SW release execution and new product RTP plan by consistent alignment with tester supplier
• Familiar with 93K system structure, tester configuration, program structure, test process flow
• Drive tester SW standards and test processes optimization to enable best-in-class test solutions
• Develop, plan, implement, and verify next generation tester platforms roadmap SW release
• Design DOEs/checkout plan and review risk assessment for specific software quality
• Good communication skills and the ability to address user concerns/escalations as well as work cross-functionally with factories, IT, BUs, and other TTS platform teams is needed
• Analyze tester SW robustness through correlated performance and sameness verification techniques
• Vendor(Advantest) management: Priorities, escalation, performance, quality, commitment, OC/UGM meetings

Qualifications
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a similar Advantest Tester Software role
• Strong Analog and Mixed Signal circuit debug and test fundamental knowledge
• Must be highly organized, with effective communication and presentation skills and a strong ability to multi-task complex projects and/or technical tasks as needed.

• Tester OS awareness
• Debug tool knowledge(Mbayse, PQA, Spotfire…etc)
