We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Director, Transfer Pricing based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the Lead, this full-time and permanent position offers great coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our business and its' growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management:
    Oversee and manage a portfolio of compliance and transfer pricing (TP) clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax-related work.
  • Technical Review:
    Review tax computations, TP reports, and advisory deliverables, providing technical guidance to the team where required.
  • Regulatory Liaison:
    Communicate and coordinate with authorities such as IRB, MOF, MIDA, and other relevant bodies on compliance, audit, or investigation matters.
  • Team Leadership:
    Mentor, guide, and review work of junior staff; oversee training, performance evaluations, and workflow management.
  • Business Development:
    Maintain strong client relationships, identify opportunities for cross-selling and new business, and contribute to firm visibility through publications or speaking engagements.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Ensure efficient work allocation, timely invoicing, and receivables collection, while upholding quality and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA) or equivalent.
  • At least 11-13 years of experience in taxation.
  • Have a good understanding and knowledge of the following:


• Income – capital, revenue, sources of income, etc


• Deductible Expenditure


• Capital Allowances


• Reinvestment Allowance


• Key double deductions


• Tax Administration matters


• Withholding Tax


• Incentives


• TP Rules


• Malaysian TP Guidelines

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge on MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Has attention to details.
  • Good time management and is a deadline drive person
