About the role

As an Agronomist with ELITE TRANSFORM TEAM', you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal growth and yield of crops at our agricultural operations in Johor Bahru, Johor. This full-time position is crucial in supporting our mission to transform the farming industry through innovative and sustainable practices.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing expert advice and guidance on soil management, crop nutrition, and pest/disease control to maximise agricultural productivity
2. Conducting regular field assessments and crop monitoring to identify and address any issues or opportunities for improvement
3. Collaborating with the farming team to implement innovative farming techniques and technologies
4. Analysing data and generating detailed reports to inform strategic decision-making
5. Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in agronomy and sharing knowledge with the team
6. Ensuring all farming activities comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices

What we're looking for

1. A bachelor's degree or higher in agronomy, agricultural science, or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as an agronomist, preferably in a commercial farming environment
3. Excellent knowledge of soil science, crop physiology, integrated pest management, and precision agriculture
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the farming team
6. A passion for sustainable agriculture and a commitment to driving innovation in the industry
