Job Overview:

As a Production Engineer (PMC) at JYC Battery Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely management of materials used in the production of batteries. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure that all necessary raw materials, components, and finished goods are available to meet production schedules while minimizing inventory costs and ensuring quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Planning & Coordination:

  • Monitor and manage the availability of raw materials, components, and supplies needed for production processes.

  • Collaborate with production and procurement teams to forecast material requirements based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

  • Develop and maintain accurate material requirements planning (MRP) data to ensure smooth production flow.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain optimal levels of inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.

  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in material stock levels.

  • Work with the warehouse team to track and report on the movement of materials in and out of the production line.

Supply Chain Collaboration:

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials by working with suppliers and vendors.

  • Resolve any material shortages or delays, coordinating with suppliers to mitigate production disruptions.

  • Communicate any potential material issues to the production and procurement teams to

minimize downtime.

Production Support:

  • Provide timely material availability reports to the production team.

  • Ensure that materials are properly stored and handled, maintaining quality and safety standards in accordance with company policies.

  • Oversee material transfers between production stages and ensure materials are used efficiently.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of material usage, inventory levels, and production schedules.

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly material usage reports and analyze material consumption trends.

  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on material usage and inventory data.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline material handling processes, reduce waste, and improve material efficiency.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices for material control in the

production process.

Pay: RM4, RM5,500.00 per month
