About the role

As a Production Executive at BERJAYA CKE GROUP, you will be responsible for supervising production operations to ensure products are made according to the quality standards and, required quantity on time at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Production Planning and Operations:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities for commercial kitchen equipment and stainless steel products.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address any issues related to the supply of products, glass, or spare parts.
  • Responsible for determining when overdue products will arrive and arranging jobs.
  • Responsible for overseeing the department's conveyor line planning, operations, and productivity.
  • Supervise the department's daily input and output.
  • Execute the weekly production planning schedule as per the production planning outline.
  • Ensure all materials and parts are fully prepared and sufficient before starting production.
  • Ensure production targets on quality, output, cost, and delivery are achieved according to schedule.

Quality Control:

  • Supervise the quality of special products and ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality consistency of standard products.
  • Supervise and motivate production teams to maintain high efficiency and product quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce cost, and optimize production processes.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and workplace safety regulations (ISO, 5S).

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Responsible for accurately recording all production inputs, outputs, material usage, and production data.
  • Prepare daily and monthly production performance reports for Management review.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal fabrication or commercial kitchen equipment production.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, and able to handle production challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in a hands-on factory environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's relevant experience.
