Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Wood Room operations — from the input of raw master panels to the processing and transfer of chips for further utilization.
  • Plan, administer, and monitor Wood Room activities to maximize throughput, optimize resources, control costs, and maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure all operations comply with statutory regulations, company procedures, and machinery manufacturers' standards.
  • Oversee manpower and supervision during all production shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports, including daily production summaries, monthly performance reports, and incident investigations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and goal-setting activities.
  • Monitor and review performance against production plans and budget targets.
  • Identify and coordinate training and development programs to enhance the competency and performance of Wood Room personnel.
  • Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and uphold high standards of housekeeping and safety.
  • Foster close collaboration with other departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Promote a positive work culture that embraces continuous improvement, best practices, and high-performance teamwork.
  • Support company initiatives related to business improvement, employee welfare, and community relations.

Requirement:-
- Required skill(s): SAP, MS Office, Process Improvement, Project Management.
- Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in the wood-based or MDF industry.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, machinery operations, and quality control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 1 full time position available in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
