  • Responsible for P&L Reporting and management of the company accounts.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting to superiors in accordance with Company requirements.
  • Handling full sets of accounts including invoicing to customer, vendor invoice verification and maintaining contract costing sheets.
  • Liaising with external auditors. Tax agents and Company Secretary for audit and other reporting functions.
  • Processing and payment for vendor invoices, statutory payment and employee claims.
  • Manage for daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger entries.
  • Perform month-end closing of accounts, raising journal entries for revenue and accruals, depreciation and other recurring items.
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments or tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably within an SME environment.
  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field/professional qualification (ie: ACCA etc)
  • Prior experience in the freight and logistics industry is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience in managing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and able to work closely with management of all level (internal and external).
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel experience.
