Provide excellent leadership and management of CorporateFinance, measured by the effectiveness, engagement and business unit respect ofthe team.Provide strong accounting and reporting throughout thegroup, including overseeing, monitoring an effective control environment, andproviding strategic information and advice to the Board of Directors and SeniorManagement Team.Provide financial analysis and advice to the Group Chief ExecutiveOfficer (CEO) of the company at any time it is involved in businesstransactions or acquisitions. In some cases, controllers may also provide legaladvice, be responsible for treasury, tax and financial planning. Build productive working relationships with stakeholders in orderto understand their business operations and the financial information needs ofend users.Manage the Group's cash flows within available facilities,providing appropriate reporting to Board of Directors.Manage the Group's financial reporting obligations, with responsibilityfor preparation and lodgement of compliant financial year consolidatedaccounts.Manage the Group's statutory taxation obligations withresponsibility for preparation and lodgement.Collaborate, design, implement and review finance systems, policiesand procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevantpractices. Oversee finance transformation of works.Preparation of annual budgets.Undertake a range of other activities within the CorporateFinance function, in conjunction with other Finance staff, such as maintenanceof consolidated key finance activities (e.g. asset financing);governance/internal control activities; business administration or insurancemanagement.Ensure reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requestsfor financial related information are appropriately delivered. RequirementsMember of Malaysia Institute Accountant (MIA), is mandatory.Experience with listing companies or IPO, is strongadvantage.In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and riskmanagement practices.Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial managementsoftware (e.g. SAP).Ability to strategize and solve problems.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Excellent communication and people skills
