About Our Client

Our client EP Manufacturing Berhad operates a leading car assembly plant in Melaka, committed to excellence in automotive manufacturing and developing the next generation of engineering talent.

What you'll be doing?
  • Structured Training: Undergo comprehensive training across key engineering functions such as Production, Quality, Maintenance and Logistics.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot technical challenges to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in implementing process improvements and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and support daily engineering operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare reports and technical documentation in Chinese and English for stakeholder communication.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor production and equipment performance, identifying areas for optimization.
  • Problem-Solving Activities: Participate in activities to reduce defects, downtime and inefficiencies.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • New Model Support: Support new model introduction and process validation activities.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams on technical matters.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related fields).
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in writing, reading and speaking Chinese and English to liaise with stakeholders from China.
  • Location Flexibility: Willing to work in Alor Gajah, Melaka and adapt to a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion & Attitude: Passionate about automotive engineering and eager to learn.
