This role demands a visionary engineer who can translate complex business requirements into cost effective, scalable, secure, and high-performing network designs that support the organization's transformation roadmap. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the Network Engineer IV will ensure that all designs adhere to industry best practices, regulatory standards, and internal governance frameworks. The networks commissioned under this role are expected to meet the highest standards of operability, reliability, availability, and performance.ResponsibilitiesDesign & Governance: The candidate will be accountable for the design and design governance though reviewing and approving all proposed changes to ensure they align with architectural standards, security policies, and operational requirements before implementation.Standards: The candidate will also propose High Level Design, and Low-Level Design such as but not limited to Topology, Hardware standards, Software Standards, configuration. Post design and planning phase, he will manage the logistics for equipment to be delivered on site and oversee, coordinate the rack and stack.Engineering. Work with OEMs to identify, develop, and implement new networking technologies and concepts.Project Technical Leadership Execution. The candidate is expected to technically lead and deliver critical infrastructure projects, such as the construction of data centers and the establishment of regional and domestic WAN/MAN connectivity. This includes overseeing all phases—from planning and design to implementation and operational handover.To succeed in this role, the candidate must have prior experience managing projects of similar scale and complexity. This involves coordinating with a diverse set of stakeholders, including external technology vendors and suppliers, as well as internal teams such as local business IT representatives across multiple geographies.Job RequirementsTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields.Must possess at least 6 years of experience in network plan, build or operate functions within global Financial Services Institution with at least 3 years of experience in Build.Must possess CCIE professional certifications.ITIL certification is a plus. Must possess practical knowledge and experience on ITIL processes such as but not limited to Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Lifecycle Management and Threat and Vulnerability Management.Expert in Routers and Switches. Must have hands-on experience working with one or more of the other enterprise network components including but not limited to SDN, SDWAN, WAP, WLC, ISE, DHCP, DNS, NTP, Proxy, Load Balancer, VPN, Firewall, IPS/IDS, WAF, NAC and Sniffer.zScaler certification is a plus. Desirable to possess practical and hands on experience with zScaler plan, build and operate.Possess expert and hands-on experience in network protocols such as but not limited to TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP, SNMP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IPsec, VTP, VPC, STP, HSRP and UDLD.Candidate with scripting skills is a plus (i.e.: Python, Perl).Basic to Intermediate Cloud networking with Azure or GCP is a plus.Project management experience that ensures projects are delivered on a timely schedule within budget.Technocommercial skill is a plus. Must be able to work with various stakeholders and influence the outcome such as getting change window.Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft productivity, collaborating suite and AI products.Working HoursMonday to Friday exclude Public Holiday. Production network changes will only be allowed during the window provided by business. Candidates should be prepared to work during non-business hours when implementing the project or other supporting activities.The Network Engineer IV typically holds a supervisory and oversight role, with responsibilities centered around strategic design and governance. As such, the requirement to be hands-on during non-business hours is less frequent.TravelTraveling may be needed for projects during implementation and should
