Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire a positive, proactive and experienced Senior Manager, Software Development & Operations to oversee the software development activities and manage the day-to-day IT support and product enhancements. The individual is also responsible to produce efficient service and delivery solutions and maximise performance against pre-agreed KPIs and SLA. Reporting To Group, Head of TechnologyMain Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesManage regional software development activities and software support by collaborating with each Team Leads, developers, support team and business users. Liaising with stakeholders such as management, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements.Work with system analyst, developers and testers to ensure delivery of software as per agreed specifications.Manage daily sprints with team leads and collaborate towards removing any impediments or challenges faced by the team.Manage the IT support team and day-to-day activities and ensure issues are responded and resolved within the agreed timeframe.Motivate team members to succeed in a fast-paced collaborative environment.Conduct technology / solution evaluation and recommend appropriate solution to the business team.Discuss and finalize resource allocation with Head of Technology and assign necessary tasks to the team. Ensure the assigned software developments work are delivered on-time and within scope.Implementing document control policies and secure code policies.Able to assist the team on technical escalation and system design / architecture challenges.Able to provide advise and guidelines to the team on system performance improvement.Able to provide new ideas and solutions in line with current technological trends and future innovative solutions. Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.Ensuring compliance with IT security policies, organizational policies, procedures, and standards. Qualification & ExperienceBS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.7-10 years of experience in Manager role in leading software development team (> 10 members) and managing IT support.5+ years of experience as software developer / team lead in customized software or app building environment in either PHP stack or MERN / MEAN stack.Have agile based project management and stakeholder management experience.Understanding of software development life cycle and secure code development life cycle.Experience in cloud infrastructure platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP will be added advantage.Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.Good verbal and written communication skills.Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
