About the role

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and effective production operations at our manufacturing facility in Penang. This is a full-time position that requires your expertise in production planning and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets
  2. Monitor and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency and productivity
  3. Oversee the work of production teams, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality standards
  4. Identify and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner to minimise disruptions
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations
  6. Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on production performance
  7. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes

What we're looking for

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the manufacturing or similar industry.
  2. Strong working knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and control techniques
  3. Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
  4. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
  6. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
