Job Description

  1. Production Planning & Execution

Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output targets.

Ensure production schedules are followed and adjust plans when necessary.

Coordinate with planning, warehouse, QA, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.

  1. Team Leadership & Management

Supervise and guide production operators, packers, and line leaders.

Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and monitor team performance.

Train new staff on production procedures, safety, and quality standards.

Motivate the team and ensure optimum manpower utilization.

  1. Quality Control & Food Safety

Ensure all products meet quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.

Work closely with QC/QA to resolve any non-conformities.

Ensure proper documentation and compliance with HACCP, GMP, and internal SOPs.

  1. Machinery & Equipment Monitoring

Monitor machine performance and escalate to maintenance team when issues arise.

Ensure operators handle machines safely and correctly.

Minimize production downtime through preventive measures.

  1. Inventory & Material Management

Ensure sufficient raw materials, packaging, and supplies are available for production.

Update usage records and report shortages to planning/warehouse.

Reduce wastage and ensure proper handling of all materials.

  1. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily production reports, downtime logs, output records, and manpower reports.

Maintain proper documentation based on company SOP and food safety requirements.

  1. Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance with OSHA, PPE requirements, and company regulations.

Conduct safety briefings and report any incidents or near-misses.

  1. Continuous Improvement

Identify areas for process improvement to increase productivity and efficiency.

Suggest and support implementation of new systems, SOPs, and machine upgrades.
