JOB SUMMARY

The EHS Support Executive assists in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. The role supports daily EHS operations, promotes a safe working environment, and helps drive a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Health & Safety

  • Support implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and safe work practices
  • Assist in workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company standards
  • Support incident, accident, and near-miss reporting and investigations
  • Assist in emergency preparedness drills and safety programs

Environmental

  • Support environmental compliance activities (waste management, chemical handling, emissions, etc.)
  • Assist in monitoring environmental performance and record-keeping
  • Help implement sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives

Training & Awareness

  • Coordinate EHS training sessions and maintain training records
  • Support safety awareness campaigns, toolbox talks, and safety meetings

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain EHS documentation, permits, registers, and records
  • Prepare EHS reports, statistics, and presentations
  • Support internal and external EHS audits

Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with employees, contractors, and vendors on EHS matters
  • Support EHS Manager/Officer in daily operations and projects
  • Assist in corrective and preventive action tracking

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field
  • 3 years of experience in an EHS or safety support role
  • Good knowledge of local EHS laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is an advantage
  • Good documentation and reporting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5, RM6,000.00 per month
