Job Descriptions:

  • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
  • Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assisting WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
  • Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meeting once a week.
  • Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
  • Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
  • Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection
  • Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements:

  • Min 3 year experience in factory
  • Min Diploma in workplace safety or equivalent
  • Must have SSS Certificate (Site Safety Supervisor)
  • Effectively enforce policies, rules and regulation
  • Accept responsibility for compliance with rules and regulations
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
  • Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
  • Able to start work on short notice
  • Safety helmet, vest & safety shoes, ESD smock & laptop will be provided
