Production Engineer/ Senior Engineer

  1. Conduct Incoming Quality Control (IQC) for materials/components, ensure compliance with local/international standards (SIRIM, IEC, etc.), and sync inspection data & improvement plans with China HQ;
  2. Maintain technical documents and test reports, control version consistency (complying with BEM, ISO 9001), and use China HQ-designated systems for cross-border collaboration;
  3. Communicate with suppliers to address material defects, drive 8D reports and corrective actions, sync HQ's supplier quality requirements and feedback progress;
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate product specifications and test procedures (balancing performance, safety, cost), and align with China HQ's technical goals and project timeline;
  5. Track local regulations (Engineers Act 1967) and target market certifications (UL, CE, etc.), and sync regulatory updates & certification progress with China HQ;
  6. Deliver technical training (design, testing, safety), adapt to China HQ's training system, and file training content with HQ for record;
  7. Execute China HQ's management systems (PLM SAP OA), complete data entry and process implementation, ensuring operations align with HQ standards.

Qualification Requirement:

  • At least a certificate, or diploma and above in Mechatronic/Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software (e.g., CAD/CAM, ERP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge in debugging or troubleshooting PCB will be priority.
  • Strong in communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Have strong written and spoken Mandarin (will be added advantage as it will require interaction with the counterpart from China) and English skills.
  • Able to complete other tasks assigned by superiors/management.
