Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field.
  • Degree in Quality Assurance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards . Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and technicians.
  • Responsible and authorised to stop non-conforming materials, work-in-progress and finished goods from further processing or delivery to the next process or customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions . Document and report findings to ensure effective resolution of quality problems.
  • Identify areas for quality improvement within the manufacturing process and implement quality improvement plans.
  • Employs techniques like Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to improve operations. Assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Performs internal audits to ensure systems comply with requirements and are effective.
  • Assist customer audit and third party QMS certification assessment.
  • Responsible for ROHS compliance.
