Having firmly established ourselves online, we are currently expanding our presence with offline shops, bringing the Konvy experience directly to our customers. We are excited to be growing our operations in Malaysia and are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-volume short-form videos (5–60s) from briefs or self-ideated concepts.
  • Craft strong hooks, punchy pacing, and retention-friendly story arcs.
  • Version assets for channels (TikTok, IG Reels, YT Shorts, Pinterest) and placements (organic vs paid).
  • Add captions, motion graphics, supers, SFX, transitions, and light sound design.
  • Localize/resize, export, and archive according to spec sheets and naming conventions.
  • Collaborate with Growth on A/B tests; implement learnings and iterate fast.
  • Color-correct/grade and clean audio; basic beauty/product cleanup as needed.
  • Source and manage licensed music, fonts, and stock under brand guidelines.
  • QC for platform policies (safe zones, text size, loudness, copyright).
  • Maintain an organized project file structure for team handoffs.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years editing for DTC/e-commerce or creator/brand social (portfolio required).
  • Expert in Premiere Pro or Final Cut; solid After Effects (lower thirds, kinetic type).
  • Proven ability to edit for
    performance
    (thumb-stopping hooks, retention, CTA).
  • Comfortable with UGC/raw smartphone footage and mixed formats.
  • Understand social analytics (view-through rate, hold rate, CTR) and apply insights.
  • Strong typography, sound, and rhythm; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple briefs.
