The Video Editor will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that aligns with the brand's marketing and communication strategies. This role involves editing and producing engaging video materials for various platforms, including social media, websites, and events. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of storytelling, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Video Editing and Production:

  • Edit and produce video content for marketing campaigns, including trailers, promotional videos, social media clips, and event highlights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with brand messaging and objectives.
  • Enhance raw footage with sound, graphics, and visual effects to create polished and professional videos.

Content Optimization:

  • Adapt video content for different platforms, ensuring optimal performance on social media channels, websites, and other digital platforms.
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for quality, file size, and performance while maintaining brand consistency.

Asset Management:

  • Organize and maintain a library of video assets, including raw footage, graphics, sound effects, and project files.
  • Archive completed projects and ensure all materials are backed up and easily accessible.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, design, and product, to align video content with broader campaign goals.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers for additional production support when necessary.

Post-Production Quality Control:

  • Review and implement feedback from stakeholders to ensure video content meets brand standards and project requirements.
  • Perform color grading, audio mixing, and final rendering to deliver high-quality outputs.

Innovation and Creativity:

  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques to continuously improve video content.
  • Experiment with new formats, styles, and technologies to enhance the audience's viewing experience.

Adhoc Duties:

  • Undertake additional responsibilities and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support the team and ensure smooth execution of daily activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in video editing and production, preferably in a marketing or gaming environment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
  • Strong knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
  • Experience in motion graphics, animation, and sound design is a plus.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with a strong sense of timing, pacing, and composition.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming culture is highly desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of camera operation and lighting setup is a bonus.
