About the Role

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will act as the key technical link between the design team, contractors, and project management, ensuring that construction aligns with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily construction activities on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Monitor progress, workmanship, and materials to maintain high-quality output.
  • Review and provide technical guidance on construction methods, schedules, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and the project team to resolve technical or operational issues.
  • Prepare progress reports, site diaries, and inspection records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
  • Assist in inspections, testing, and commissioning of works.
  • Support project handovers and snagging processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Resident Engineer or Site Engineer in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work independently on-site.
  • Familiarity with statutory and safety regulations is a plus.
