Position Overview

The Portfolio Executive supports the Portfolio Manager in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on portfolio investments. The role involves financial analysis, preparation of reports, coordination with portfolio companies, and assisting in implementing value creation initiatives. This position provides hands-on exposure to portfolio management and serves as a foundation for future leadership roles in investment management.

1. Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Monitoring – Collect and review reports from portfolio companies; track KPIs and maintain monitoring databases and dashboards.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting – Assist in preparing financial models, portfolio valuations, board packs, and investor reports.
  • Value Creation Support – Conduct research, track strategic initiatives, and support portfolio companies on operational improvements.
  • Investment – Assist in screening investment projects, due diligence and work with external professionals where necessary.
  • Exit & Transaction Support – Assist with due diligence, documentation, and coordination for exits, or other transactions.
  • Internal Support – Maintain records, ensure compliance, and provide ad-hoc analysis for the investment/portfolio team.

2. Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (professional certification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA is an advantage).
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Strong financial analysis, Excel, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with portfolio companies and internal teams.
