Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ASRS system layouts, racking designs, and conveyor arrangements using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Translate conceptual designs, sketches, or verbal/written instructions into precise engineering drawings.
  • Collaborate with project or lead engineers to develop optimized warehouse layouts, including material flow, access routes, and equipment integration.
  • Maintain and update all layout documentation, ensuring accuracy and revision control.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to perform basic technical calculations, generate reports, and prepare presentation materials.
  • Participate in site visits for measurements, layout validation, and installation planning, as required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (mechanical, electrical, and project management) to ensure design consistency and alignment across disciplines.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in the automation industry
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D); SolidWorks is a plus
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of ASRS, conveyors, and sorting systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical interpretation skills
  • Willing to travel occasionally for site work or meetings (including overseas, if required)
  • Good communication and team collaboration skills
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
  • Experience with data analysis (Excel or Power BI) is a plus
