We are seeking a System Security Engineer with strong hands-on experience in managing enterprise-grade security tools across large-scale IT environments. The role involves daily operational support, incident troubleshooting, and ensuring the continuous protection of the organization's systems through proactive monitoring, policy maintenance, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate will possess both technical depth in endpoint, identity, and messaging protection technologies and strong documentation and communication skills to ensure clear tracking and reporting of all operational and incident management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing enterprise System Security or Endpoint Security solutions.
  • Strong understanding of email security, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and EDR/AV platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise environment tools such as ProofPoint, SentinelOne, Symantec, Trend Micro, and Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills for effective issue resolution and documentation.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st-level operational support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for all deployed System Security technologies in accordance with team SOPs and guidance.
  • Monitor and maintain performance, availability, and update status of all security agents and management consoles.

  • Conduct periodic health checks on all System Security tools, including:

  • ProofPoint Email Protection

  • Exchange Online Protection
  • Symantec Messaging Gateway
  • Active Directory & Entra ID Security
  • Entra Conditional Access
  • SentinelOne Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)
  • Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Symantec Endpoint Encryption
  • Trend Micro Virtual Patch

  • High-Risk Endpoint Monitoring (Syteca)

  • Manage and implement blacklist and whitelist requests for email filters, file hashes, and applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and security best practices.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for escalation and resolution of complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational documentation, including incident logs, configuration changes, version consistency reports, and definition update summaries.
  • Review, validate, and update whitelist/blacklist policies and configurations periodically to ensure ongoing relevance and compliance with security posture.
  • Participate in periodic audits, system hardening, and tool optimization exercises to enhance protection effectiveness.
