Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and related technologies.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability to ensure optimal operation.
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity and system issues.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams to develop and implement network solutions that support business needs.
  • Maintain and regularly update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policies.
  • Implement and configure network devices and services, including load balancers, VPNs, and security appliances.
  • Ensure network security by applying appropriate firewalls, access control policies, and other security measures.
  • Conduct network maintenance tasks such as firmware upgrades, software patches, and system backups.
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery drills and network performance testing.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and internal IT teams on network-related matters.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in a Network Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware, including configuration and administration.
  • In-depth understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN technologies.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining network security practices and protocols.
  • Proficiency in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an added advantage.
  • Possession of industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
