Job Description
The Sous Chef is the second-in-command in the kitchen, responsible for assisting the Executive Sous Chef in managing all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and team supervision. The Sous Chef ensures consistent food quality, adherence to hotel standards, and efficient kitchen operations while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The key of accountabilities;
- Supervise the function of all kitchen employees, facilities and costs, hence contributes to maximizing the overall Food & Beverage department profit.
- Control and analyses on an on-going basis the following:
- Quality levels of production and presentation
- Guest satisfaction.
- Merchandising and Marketing.
- Operating food cost.
- Cleanliness, sanitation, hygiene.
