About the role

Chai Dental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA) / Front Desk Assistant to join our growing dental practice in Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our dental clinic.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the dentist during procedures by passing instruments, holding suction equipment, and ensuring the surgery area is clean and organised
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, providing a warm and friendly first impression
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment according to infection control protocols
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and updating digital records system
  • Handling basic patient enquiries and providing information about our services
  • Supporting administrative tasks such as invoicing, inventory management, and general office duties

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or similar role in a dental practice or healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, dentists, and the wider team
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail to ensure efficient clinic operations
  • Proficiency in using dental software and computer applications
  • A warm, friendly, and customer-service oriented approach
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team
