Position : Senior Contract Analyst

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Kuala Lumpur

Scope of Work(s):

  • Develop, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company and PETRONAS requirements.
  • Provide contractual and commercial advice to project teams and management.
  • Participate in contract negotiations, clarifications, and risk mitigation discussions.
  • Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project departments to ensure alignment in contract execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Manage contract amendments, variations, and close-out activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents and correspondence.
  • Support audits, claims management, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Ensure compliance with PSC, JDA, or RSC contractual frameworks.

Minimum Requirement(s):

  • Bachelors Degree in Science, Law, Accountancy, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in upstream oil and gas companies.
  • Minimum 7 years of practical experience as a Lead or Senior Contract Analyst.
  • Working experience in PSC, JDA, or RSC companies is required.
  • Strong knowledge of PETRONAS contractual requirements and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
