Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and oversee day-to-day production operations. The role is responsible for achieving production targets with high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements, and managing a team of manufacturing associates.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily production activities to meet build plans, efficiency, and yield goals.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and performance of production staff.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, cGMP, and internal quality system procedures.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineering teams to maintain accurate and updated manufacturing documentation (MAPs, APs, Visual Aids).
  • Ensure production lines are properly equipped with visual aids, documentation, and materials.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, safety standards, and labor law requirements.
  • Conduct line balancing and resource allocation to improve productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Lead investigations on non-conformance issues and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all employees.
  • Prepare and submit production reports and metrics to management.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in ISO 13485, FDA, or medical device manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and Quality System Regulations.
  • Familiarity with electrical/optical products.

Work Environment:
  • Based in both office and production floor environments.
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, and use of computers.
  • May involve occasional local travel.
