About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor/Estimator/QS Admin to join our growing team at CHUAN LUCK PILING & CONSTRUCTIONS SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Senai Johor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality, and cost-effective quantity surveying and estimating services to support our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for construction projects
  2. Analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify quantities and costs
  3. Negotiating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure the most competitive pricing
  4. Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process
  5. Providing financial reporting and recommendations to project managers and senior management
  6. Assisting with the development and maintenance of cost databases, templates, and other business resources
  7. Collaborating with project teams to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  2. Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
  3. Strong mathematical skills and analytical thinking.
  4. Skilled in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.
  5. Proven track record of preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data and information
  7. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
