Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design products according to customer specifications, technical standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Apply engineering knowledge and innovation to optimise designs within cost, manufacturing, and time constraints.
  • Prepare, update and control design concepts, detailed fabrication drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM) and documents in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives for both existing products and manufacturing processes.
  • Support process development, process optimisation to improve yield, efficiency, and quality.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to plan, execute, and coordinate the full product and process development cycle.
  • Provide technical support to Engineering, Production, Operations, Quality, and Sales teams.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess Engineering Degree/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Product Design or relevant qualification from recognized university.
  • Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, FEA or equivalent 3D modelling software.
  • Good at technical report or paper writing and engineering analysis.
  • Strong creative sense, able to work independently with good initiatives, have a sense of urgency and accountable.
  • Possess own transport
