About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Regional Social Content & Creative Lead to shape how ShopBack shows up across our marketing ecosystem. You'll own the content & creative stream within Online Marketing (OM) – working alongside our MarTech and OM leads – with a strong focus on creator-led, short-form video and UGC-style performance creatives across Meta and TikTok, while also driving static, rich media, and other creative formats across channels (e.g. social, CRM, onsite, display, partner assets). This is not a pure "strategy" or "deck-making" role – you'll be deep in the work: scripting, shooting, editing, designing, iterating, and then scaling what works across markets through playbooks, toolkits, creator programs, and over time building and mentoring a small but high-performing creative pod around you. Key ResponsibilitiesContent & Creative StrategyDevelop and own a content and creative strategy for Online Marketing across markets, with emphasis on short-form, creator-led content plus supporting static and rich media assets.Translate business and performance goals (acquisition, activation, engagement, revenue) into clear content themes, formats, and series across social, CRM, onsite, and other paid/owned channels.Define a distinctive creative POV for how ShopBack shows up on Meta, TikTok and other touchpoints – native to each platform and format. Hands-on Content Creation & ProductionLead end-to-end content production: ideation, scripting, shooting (mobile-first), editing, designing, captioning, and publishing – and, at other times, plug into specific parts of the process to move quickly.Use tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop, Figma, Canva, or similar to create and edit assets yourself.Test new hooks, formats, layouts, and visual styles to keep creatives fresh, platform-native, and high performing.Build repeatable frameworks and playbooks for creator and UGC content that markets can adapt and scale. Channel Execution & Performance CollaborationPartner with OM leads and channel owners to ensure creatives are tightly aligned with media strategy, targeting, and experiments across social, CRM, onsite placements, and paid media.Run creative A/B tests (hooks, thumbnails, CTAs, formats, layouts) and use performance data to double down on winners and sunset underperformers.Ensure all creatives are native to each channel and format (e.g. TikTok vs Reels, story vs feed, CRM vs in-app vs onsite) rather than purely repurposed. Regional Enablement & GovernanceAct as the regional content & creative owner within OM, setting guidelines, templates, and best practices for markets.Create modular assets and toolkits (video templates, static layouts, messaging frameworks) that can be easily localized and reused by country teams.Partner with local teams to adapt content for cultural nuance and relevance while maintaining brand and creative standards. Future Team Building (Player-Coach)Start as a highly hands-on individual contributor, setting the quality and pace bar through your own work.Over time, help shape the resourcing model (in-house creators, editors, designers, agencies) and recruit, coach, and develop a small creative team within OM. Requirements5–10+ years of experience in content, creative, social, or performance marketing roles (agency or in-house)Comes with a strong portfolio of multi-format work – especially social and short-form video.Hands-on content creation experience is a must – you've personally created, edited, and shipped content.Proven experience with creator-led and/or UGC-style campaigns that drive measurable outcomes.Deep understanding of Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok – trends, formats, audience behaviours, and what makes content perform on each platform. Experience with other channels (e.g. YouTube Shorts, display, in-app/onsite placements, CRM) is a plus.Experience working across multiple markets or in a regional capacity is a plus.Prior experience in consumer apps, fintech, e-commerce, or marketplaces is a plus.Fast-moving, experimental mindset – comfortable iterating quickly, trying new ideas, and learning from data.AI Adoption - Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, CapCut AI, Veo 3, or similar) to accelerate ideation, scripting and content variations -> speed up editing and asset production workflows -> improve productivityt and scale creative testing effectively.
