Assistant Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Liaise with internal departments to collect and consolidate financial data
  • Reconcile bank accounts, maintain general ledgers, and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the finance team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Provide financial analysis and support to management as required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirement:

  • A bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the property or construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and best practices
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A professional, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach
