SITE ENGINEER- CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to oversee and coordinate all Civil & Structural (C&S) works on-site.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress, providing on-site technical guidance, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards, and maintaining effective communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and monitor daily civil and structural activities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide practical and timely technical solutions for on-site issues.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and project continuity.
  • Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly site progress reports.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and filing systems.
  • Verify that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of work schedules, cost estimates, and project timelines.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and resolve technical challenges.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Project

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in water treatment plants and pipe laying works.
  • Strong knowledge of civil and structural construction practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficient in preparing site reports and maintaining project documentation.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in construction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6, RM10,000.00 per month
