Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an SQE Senior Quality Engineer located in Tanjong Malim. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring product quality development, quality control, quality assurance, and quality management. Daily tasks include developing and implementing product development and mass production issues, coordinating the inspections and tests, analysing defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. The role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
  • Experience minimum 5 years in Quality Assurance and Product Quality management
  • Good knowledge of IATF16949 and the 5 Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, PFMEA & Control Plan)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - 8D Problem solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
