We are seeking a talented and experienced Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at OCTAGON MAJU HOLDINGS SDN. BHD. in Kajang, Selangor. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement within our operations. What you'll be doing

  • Analyse and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including the use of new technologies and methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production and maintenance personnel
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate the impact of process changes on overall production
  • Participate in the design and development of new manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in the use of process control software, simulation tools, and data analysis software
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
