Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Buyer/Senior Buyer located in Subang Jaya. The primary responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, sourcing and purchasing merchandise aligned with company standards, and negotiating pricing and contracts with suppliers. The role also involves inventory management, analyzing market trends, and working closely with the sales team to identify customer preferences. Monitoring product performance and ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand will also be key tasks.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation
  • Experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, and supply chain management
  • Understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive analysis
  • Proficiency in communication, relationship management, and data-driven decision making
  • Previous experience in the retail or sports industry is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and buying/planning software
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of managing tasks independently
