Group Chief Finance Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Group Chief Finance Officer (GCFO) to join Alpha IVF Group Berhad. As a key member of our Group Key Senior Management Team, you will be the architect of our financial strategy across our rapidly expanding regional footprint spanning Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, China, and future ASEAN markets. This is a pivotal full-time executive position based in Kota Damansara, Selangor, offering the opportunity to shape the financial future of a leading healthcare innovator transforming reproductive medicine across Asia.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive Strategic Financial Leadership – Partner with the Group Managing Director and Board to develop and execute financial strategies that fuel regional expansion, enhance profitability, and create long-term shareholder value across 15+ entities
• Lead Multi-Country Financial Operations – Oversee consolidated group financial reporting, statutory compliance, and governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to international accounting standards
• Champion Growth Initiatives – Spearhead M&A activities, fundraising, capital structure optimization, and investor relations to support the Group's ambitious growth trajectory
• Transform Finance Operations – Lead digital transformation initiatives including ERP implementation, BI tools deployment, and process automation to build a world-class finance function
• Ensure Risk & Compliance Excellence – Establish robust risk management frameworks and ensure compliance with tax, audit, regulatory, and healthcare sector requirements across all markets
• Build High-Performance Teams – Lead, mentor, and develop a regional finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Provide Strategic Business Partnership – Deliver actionable financial insights that align with clinical excellence and operational goals, strengthening both patient care economics and business sustainability

What We're Looking For

• Seasoned Finance Leader – Minimum 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years as Group CFO/ Finance Director / Regional CFO in multi-entity organizations
• Professional Credentials – Professional accounting qualification (MIA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or CFA) with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Regional & M&A Expertise – Proven track record in financial strategy, M&A transactions, fundraising, and managing cross-border finance operations (ASEAN experience highly valued)
• Digital Finance Pioneer – Demonstrated success leading finance transformation initiatives including ERP migrations, BI implementations, and process digitization at group/regional scale
• Healthcare Industry Insight – Knowledge of healthcare, life sciences, or service industries preferred; passion for healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes
• Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into strategic insights that drive business decisions at Board level
• Stakeholder Management Excellence – Outstanding communication and influencing skills with proven ability to engage investors, regulators, auditors, and senior leadership
• Leadership Presence – High integrity, ethical standards, and executive presence with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth, multi-cultural environment
