Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join Charge N Go Sdn Bhd, a dynamic start-up under the Time Group of Companies. This is an exciting opportunity for an agile leader who can balance financial and operational discipline in a fast-paced environment while driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Reporting

  • Partner with the CEO and management team to shape the company's financial direction, growth plans, and investment strategy.
  • Evaluate business models, pricing strategies, and commercial opportunities.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Manage financial reporting processes, including billing, payables, and treasury, ensuring timely and accurate monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate financial and operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure plans.

2. Procurement

  • Oversee procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, onboarding, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement functions.

3. HR Operations

  • Oversee HR operations and policies, including payroll, benefits administration, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

4. Administration

  • Supervise administrative functions, including office operations and travel arrangements.
  • Review key commercial agreements.

Requirements

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management capacity. Start-up or high-growth environment experience is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, risk management, and procurement processes.
  • Leadership Skills:
    Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent strategic thinking, analytical ability, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Other:
    High integrity, adaptability, and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
