Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Capital Strategy – Prepare and execute REIT financial strategy: capital structure, funding, acquisitions and disposals.
  • Lead capital-market activities such as IPO prep, secondary equity offerings and private placements.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance – Ensure accurate and timely quarterly/annual statements under MFRS and full compliance with SC and Bursa Malaysia REIT Guidelines.
  • Cash Flow & Distribution – Manage cash flows and ensure distributions are sustainable, tax-efficient and in line with the 90% income-distribution requirement.
  • Transactions & Valuation – Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and modelling for property injections, disposals and enhancement projects.
  • Risk & Scenario Management – Oversee interest-rate, leasing, property and tenant risks; run stress tests and scenario plans to protect distributions in volatile markets.
  • Treasury & Funding – Manage debt, banking relationships, liquidity and loan covenants to keep gearing within statutory limits and optimise cost of capital.
  • Investor & Stakeholder Relations – Drive investor engagement, disclosures, and market communications to maintain strong unitholder confidence and DPU growth.
  • Technology & Process Excellence – Strengthen internal controls and automate reporting; champion finance digitalisation and predictive analytics for real-time decision making.
  • Team & Talent – Build, mentor and succession-plan for a high-performing finance and accounting team with strong ethics and integrity.
  • ESG & Sustainability – Integrate ESG considerations into financing and reporting to meet evolving regulatory and investor expectations.

Requirements:


• Degree in Finance / Accounting + Professional qualification (MIA, ACCA etc.)


• years in senior finance roles; experience in REIT or property/investment funds is a big plus.


• Deep knowledge of Malaysian REIT regulatory framework, property valuation, leasing, financial modelling.


• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management.


• Ethical, high integrity.
