About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Group Finance team within Regional Finance & Capital Strategy at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating M&A targets, corporate transactions, equity fund-raising exercises, and other corporate proposals. You will ensure timely procurement of necessary approvals and support compliance and risk management initiatives within the department.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Evaluate potential M&A targets and corporate transactions, and procure all necessary approvals for successful and timely implementation
  • Evaluate, identify, and obtain approvals for equity fund-raising exercises to ensure smooth execution
  • Assess optimization proposals and other corporate exercises, securing relevant approvals where applicable
  • Assist in business risk compliance activities for the department
  • Participate actively in business continuity planning efforts
  • Execute tasks outlined in the Shared Folder User Access Management Review Checklist (UMAR)
  • Submit UMAR supporting documentation to the IAM Assurance Team on an annual basis

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in Corporate Finance in an Investment Banking, consulting firm or a public listed company
  • Prior working experience in audit firm will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad listing requirements and other relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to evaluate complex transactions and proposals
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage compliance-related tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and integrity
