Overview:

We are looking for a
System Analyst / MES Engineer
to support and improve our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in a fast-paced production environment. This role is primarily focused on day-to-day MES support, troubleshooting, and system configuration, while also offering opportunities to contribute to system enhancement or development if needed.

Candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered for a senior-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day MES support for shop floor operations, including issue investigation, user assistance, and system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and IT teams to gather system requirements and implement process improvements.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and validation to support new product introductions or process changes.
  • Maintain and update MES master data and user access control based on business needs.
  • Document system workflows, troubleshooting steps, and training materials to support operational readiness.
  • Assist in coordinating with MES vendors or internal IT for system enhancements, change requests, and interface support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system analyst, or MES-related roles in a
    manufacturing environment
    .
  • Understanding of MES concepts such as traceability, routing, work orders, and production reporting.
  • Familiar with SQL and relational databases for data validation and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with MES or production tracking systems.
  • Ability to perform data extraction and analysis for troubleshooting and reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with shop floor equipment data collection.
  • Experience working with barcode scanning systems or machine integration (e.g., AOI, SPI, IC Programming) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IT change management or validation documentation is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, production-driven environment.
