INTERNSHIP Mechatronic

The intern will gain hands-on knowledge directly assisting a Senior Technician in a real-world industrial environment:

• Industrial Electrical Systems: Develop a working understanding of the difference between single-phase and three-phase electrical power, how they are used in industrial machinery, and safe troubleshooting practices related to both.-Basics of machine movement concept (mechanical)
• Machine Installation & Integration: Learn the complete process of integrating a new machine into an existing production line, including mechanical alignment, utility connections (electrical/pneumatic/fluids), and functional testing.
• Preventative and Corrective Repair: Acquire practical skills in diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing complex equipment. This includes learning to identify worn parts and implement proper reassembly procedures.

• Pneumatic and Mechanical Systems: Gain proficiency in understanding and maintaining two critical machine systems:

• Pneumatics: Learn the function of valves, cylinders, air preparation units, and how to read basic pneumatic schematics.

• Mechanical: Practical experience with gearing, bearings, power transmission components, and ensuring precise mechanical setup.

Regular site visits to customer factories offer unique professional exposure:

• Customer-Facing Technical Support: Learn professional etiquette and communication skills necessary for interacting with high-level customer contacts (operators, engineers, and managers) while representing the hiring company.
• Process Line Context: Understand how individual machines fit into a larger factory process. This provides a crucial perspective on machine criticality, throughput, and operational standards in famous manufacturing environments.
• Logistical Planning: Master the logistical aspects of preparing for site visits, including ensuring all necessary tools, spare parts, and documentation are ready for efficient fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machinery Operation & Maintenance: Directly assist our technicians and engineers with the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of various industrial machinery and equipment.
• Project Execution: Take ownership of assigned projects, from initial concept to physical execution, including building prototypes, conducting tests, and documenting results.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement in our workflow and propose practical, implementable solutions.
• Field Support: Transport tools and equipment and occasionally travel to external sites to provide technical support or conduct field testing.

Essential Requirements:

• Hands-On Aptitude: Proven mechanical aptitude or experience working with tools, machinery, or complex mechanical/electrical systems (from coursework, personal projects, or previous jobs).
• Proactive & Resourceful: Must be willing to take initiative. We need someone who asks, "How can I help?" and actively seeks out tasks rather than waiting to be told what to do. A self-starter is critical.
• Driving Requirement: Must hold a valid driver's license and be fully competent driving a manual (stick-shift) transmission car. This is non-negotiable for site access and equipment transport.
• Poses Course Knowledge: Have understanding of basic mechanical/mechatronic/electrical course.
• Physical interview required at Semenyih (MUST, no online interview option)

Salary :  RM1300-RM1800 (with subsidy and allowance)
