We are currently looking for a Production Engineer/Senior Engineer for a leading player in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 80 years in Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing) to streamline operations.
  • Production Support: Provide daily technical and engineering support to a team of 3-4 engineers and 15 operators per plant. Address and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns swiftly to minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and performance of machinery used in the production of solid rubber products. This includes troubleshooting, repair planning, and coordinating with maintenance teams.
  • Quality Control: Work closely with quality assurance to monitor product quality, investigate defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure all products meet our strict quality standards and certifications.
  • Planning & Reporting: Assist in production planning and scheduling to meet output targets and on-time delivery goals. Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), efficiency, and yield.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all production activities and processes adhere to company safety policies and international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 45001.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with prior internship or working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment (e.g., industrial machinery, metal fabrication etc) will have an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
