About the role

We are seeking an Account Assistant to join our dynamic team at Lim Kim Chai Management Services Sdn. Bhd., a well-established accounting firm based in Batu Pahat, Johor. As an Account Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' accounting and bookkeeping needs, contributing to the overall success of our firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for our clients.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Provide support for tax filing and compliance-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant certificate, diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field. SPM/STPM/UEC holders will be considered too.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role. Applicants without any relevant experience but with strong desire to learn will be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in speaking Mandarin is an added advantage.
